Hello everyone!
I have always been a highly sensitive, highly anxious type of person with a low tolerance for stress. I always wished I could just be a chill, less reactive, normal person like everyone else. Or at least what I imagined "normal" people were like.
Growing up, I was excessively worried, and looking back, I noticed the things I was most worried about ended up being my greatest accomplishments.
I was that student who started the paper the night the assignment was given. Not because I was an overachiever, but because sitting with an unstarted task gave me a feeling of chronic, unspecified stress. However, the anxiety was relieved when I worked on it. Even just tiny simple steps, checking out my books, opening a draft in Word. If too much time passed without taking small steps on my goals, the anxiety would start to build again. A nagging pressure. A chronic stress feeling.
It took me years to see that for what it really was, a very powerful, built-in motivator.
Now when I feel the stress building, I know what it is. It's not just a general feeling of stress anymore, it's a signal. I know how to assess that feeling, break it down, and turn it into actionable steps. The stress was only ever a problem when I wasn't taking action. And once I did? Everything shifted. The focus, the consistency, the built-in motivation, it all came together and became the driving force behind bringing this project to life. It's like all the pieces have finally clicked into place at exactly the right moment, and I can't wait to teach you my exact method.
All of these assessment and action tools I have built directly into the planning hubs of my Seasonal Lifestyle Planner:
- 3 month at a glance calendar: see the full picture of your season in one view
- Vision and goals section: get clear on what you actually want
- Routine builder: design the daily structure that supports your goals
- Focus guide: zero in on what matters most right now
- Events planner: never let the important moments sneak up on you
- Personal development section: keep growing, season after season
Everything you need to stop being ruled by stress and start using it the way it was always intended, as a powerful force for moving forward.
All my best,
Noreen
